Large (2Kg-3.2Kg) Bantam (680g-910g)
It is a Large Fowl originally from Hamburg in 1900, and now also with a Bantam version. It has a very powerful compact shape and is primarily a middle weight utility bird - good natured and lively but not timid. They are particularly suitable for small-holdings and farmyards as they are excellent foragers, small eaters and quick maturing. The males are compatible amongst themselves, so do not fight.
