Essex Young Farmers Show May 2012
We are very sorry but the Colchester Poultry Club will not be able to hold our usual tent at next year's EYF. It is always the same weekend as the Hadleigh Show, and for many years has been a credit to the unstinting volunteers. They spend several days getting ready, set up and attend the Hadleigh, then dismantle and take all the pens and paraphanalia half way across East Anglia, to be set up and ready by opening time the following morning. It is exhausting, relies on very few of us, and we're very sorry, but this year we just don't have the man power to do both shows.
