Sebright
True Bantam (510g-620g)
The Sebright is a true, British bantam, which was created by Sir John Sebright in the early 1800s. Their attractive laced feathering makes them very popular, but they are not a beginners bird as they are not very fertile, not very hardy and prone to stress. They are highly strung birds but become tame with handling. They are usually kept as pairs to keep stress levels down. Each of the gold or silver feathers should have the finest of black lines around the edge. Both have rounded feathers. The male has a distinct pea comb.
